Grief Support for Donor Families

Free, compassionate care for families navigating loss through organ and tissue donation.

You Are Not Alone in Your Grief.

Grieving the loss of a loved one is never easy—especially when that loss is tied to the selfless act of organ or tissue donation. Taylor’s Gift Foundation offers free, specialized grief support for donor families across the country.

Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, we’re here to walk alongside you with care, compassion, and community.

What We Offer

Most organ donor families receive little or no grief support, and yet, their grief is deeply personal and complex. Taylor’s Gift created this program to ensure no donor family walks this journey alone.

Our grief support program is designed specifically for families of organ and tissue donors. We offer:

  • One-on-one support with trained Caring Guides—peer mentors who have also experienced loss.

  • Virtual peer support groups where families can connect and share.

  • Guidance from a licensed social worker who helps match you with the support that fits your needs.

This support is free, confidential, and available no matter how long it’s been since your loss.

“The sudden loss of my husband, Chris was an earth-shattering event that shook our family to its core. We were deeply appreciative of his selfless act of organ donation, but I found myself lost in grief, uncertain of where to turn for support.

That’s when I was introduced to the Taylor‘s Gift Grief Support Program, a lifeline that I will forever be thankful for.”
